Troika Solutions is pleased to announce that, in partnership with Fieldmade, its “Logistics Velocity Enabled by Secure In-Field Additive Manufacturing” submission has been selected by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) as one of only 10 winners of the annual Defence Innovation Challenge. This international event is aimed at accelerating transformational, state-of-the-art technological solutions in support of NATO C4ISR and cyber capabilities.
This international competition was open to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and academic institutions operating at the highest level of technology from all 29 NATO Nations. This year, the challenge focused on operational challenged in the high North. Secure field level additive manufacturing provides repair capability even in areas of degraded communications commonly encountered in the high North.
As one of the winning submissions, Troika and Fieldmade will collaboratively present the technological solution at the NCI Agency Conference and AFCEA TechNet International (NITEC19) “NATO and the High North Technology Ultramarathon,” taking place on the 20th through the 22nd of May in Oslo, Norway.
Troika representative and Senior International Analyst, Ms Pam Rooney and Fieldmade CEO, Christian Dunn Norberg will be presenting during the conference and will be available for demonstrations and discussions within the exhibit hall. “Troika and Fieldmade are committed to providing logistics agility via in-field micro- factories enabled by standards-based, authenticated technical data and we look forward to demonstrating that capability at NITEC19”, said Ms Rooney.
NITEC is an annual flagship NATO event conducted in cooperation with AFCEA. According to Mr. Ken Lasure, President of Troika Solutions, “Troika is honored to accept this award and is excited about sharing our innovative approach to improving logistical sustainment for all NATO members and partners.”
Organized in cooperation with Norway’s Ministry of Defence, the NITEC19 conference brings together over 600 senior government, military, and industry leaders, as well as defence and security experts. This three-day industry conference offers an insight into the Alliance's emerging technological and cyber needs. More information about this event can be found at #NITEC19 or at NITEC19.com.
