The year’s award was presented to Gunnery Sergeant Zachary B. Williams at the annual Marine Corps Association and Foundation C4 Awards Dinner. The award recognized Gunnery Sergeant Williams’ outstanding contributions in performing operational communications duties in support of 9th Communications Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Forces Pacific Command.

The Troika Solutions team from C4 and DC I (Mr. Stuart Nachman, Mr. Scott Uchytil, and Mr. Doug Keller) were pleased to be a part of this humbling experience as Marines and civilians, both retired and active duty, from around the Corps descended upon Arlington for the annual event. After an introduction from Lieutenant General Lori E. Reynolds (Deputy Commandant for Information), Lieutenant General Brian D. Beaudreault (Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policy, and Operations) provided the keynote address, touting the importance that information and communications will play in the future operating environment.

Upon completion of the keynote address and dinner, Mr. Nachman had the added pleasure of representing Troika Solutions during the award presentation to GySgt Williams. When asked about the event, Mr. Nachman commented, “it’s always a great feeling to be around this community of Marines...their camaraderie and esprit de corps. These professionals and phenomenal leaders are the future of our military, and I’m glad to be associated with them.”
