2019 dRC Gala

Updated: Nov 15, 2019

Troika Solutions believes in supporting the community and upholds this important principle through employee engagement. When given the opportunity to contribute to a local fundraising event in Fredericksburg, VA, Troika jumped at the opportunity to support an organization that provides needed services to persons with disabilities throughout the Rappahannock area.

Troika Solutions was a proud sponsor of the disAbility Resource Center of the Rappahannock Area’s (dRC) annual fundraising gala event at the Fredericksburg Expo Center on Saturday, October 12, 2019. The dRC is a wonderful organization that assists people with disabilities by providing them, those who support them, and the local community with information, education, and resources so they may achieve the highest potential and benefit of independent living.

Troika Solutions team members Doug Keller, with his wife Lisa, and Scott Uchytil, with his wife Kathy, were delighted to represent the “The Horse” during the gala event. In her opening remarks, the Director of the dRC, Debe Fults, recognized Troika’s contribution and commented that she was “very thankful to have the support of a company like Troika.” The event included dinner, dancing, a live auction, and other festivities. The highlights of the evening were the dRC’s recognition of unpaid caregivers (many of whom were relatives or friends of persons with disabilities) and speeches given by dRC consumers and volunteers, who spoke about the organization’s fantastic support and its outstanding staff of caring professionals. This was a wonderful event that raised thousands of dollars for an organization whose work is vital to the local disabled community.

When asked about the event, Mr. Uchytil commented, “I believe we need to give back to our community, and I love working for a company that not only feels the same way, but proves it through its actions.”
