Troika Joins Additive Manufacturing Users Group

Troika is pleased to announce their acceptance for membership in the exclusive Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG).  Membership in this respected organization is restricted to acknowledged Additive Manufacturing (or 3D Printing) practitioners and consultants.

At the AMUG Annual Education & Training Conference, the top names in the industry meet to share their knowledge and experience. Troika attended the 27thannual AMUG conference April 19-23 in Jacksonville, Florida.   Speakers included such luminaries as Chuck Hull (seen in the photo), inventor of 3D Printing and founder of 3D Systems; Dr. Lonnie Love, Leader of Manufacturing Systems Research Group and Project Lead for the massive Big Area Additive Manufacturing program at Oak Ridge National Labs; Joe Allison, CEO of Stratasys Direct Manufacturing; and too many other notable industry leaders to list.  Their presentations were dynamic, informative and insightful. Throughout the week,they were available to engage in informal discussion and eager to offer wise counsel borne of their many years of experience.

The AMUG Mission Statement reflects the purpose of the organization: "Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) educates and advances the uses and applications of additive manufacturing technologies.  The cornerstone of the AMUG is the Annual Education & Training Conference.  AMUG members meet annually to share information, tips and tricks on additive manufacturing processes, applications, materials, ancillary equipment and industry trends.  AMUG provides an open, inviting atmosphere that encourages communication, conversation and networking between its members and from its members to industry vendors."
