Troika Solutions was thrilled to once again be a part of the CTMA Partners meeting, held 24-26 May 2015 in Ann Arbor Michigan. This was the 16th annual CTMA Partners meeting with this year's theme, "Enabling Improved Readiness with Reduced Resources", being incredibly important to today's defense environment. Over the course of the three day conference, Troika learned about and presented on many great new merging technologies the Department of Defense (DoD) is evaluating or currently using in line with this year's theme.
Live panel presentations followed by questions allowed both the virtual audience and those in person to really understand the benefits CTMA Partners have been able to apply to DoD Organizations in areas such as 3D printing, asset management, big data, and many others.
As a testament to our subject matter expertise and extensive working knowledge of USMC, DoD and Coalition Logistics, Troika we asked to participate in the "Expeditionary and Joint Maintenance" panel discussion, which was moderated by Steve Morani from the Joint Staff Logistics Directorate (J-4) office. Panelists included Mr. Michael Ryan from Headquarters Marine Corps, Installations and Logistics, who opened with several initiatives the Marine Corps has been testing and evaluating during the last year that showed enormous return on time to the users and money saved.
The other two panelists were Mr. Bill Black, Partner & CFO of Troika Solutions, and Mr. Matt Edwards, Director of Software Development for Troika Solutions. During the panel both Mr. Black and Mr. Edwards brought life to the discussions by expressing the absolute need to increase interoperability amongst Naval, Joint, and Coalition partners.
In addition to the panel discussions, Mr. Edwards was able to present and answer questions about the effective tools for joint maintenance and asset management that are relatively smaller and cheaper than current ERP solutions, and can be rapidly deployed for organizational, joint, or expeditionary success.
