Troika Solutions Wins Prestigious NCIA Defence Innovation Challenge 2018
Troika Solutions is pleased to announce that its “Battlespace Visibility to Optimise Coalition Sustainment” submission has been selected by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) as one of only 10 winners of the annual Defence Innovation Challenge. This international event is aimed at accelerating transformational, state-of-the-art technological solutions in support of NATO C4ISR and cyber capabilities.
This competition was open to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and academic institutions operating at the highest level of technology from all 29 NATO nations. This year, the challenge focused on digital innovation, an area in which Troika Solutions has significant engagement and experience.
As one of the winning submissions, Troika will present its cutting-edge technological solution at the NCI Agency Conference and AFCEA TechNet International (NITEC18) “NATO’s Digital Endeavour: Expanding the Ecosystem,” which will be held May 22-24 in Berlin, Germany.
Pam Rooney, Troika representative and Senior International Analyst, will present the solution during the conference and will be available for demonstrations of Troika’s capabilities within the exhibit hall. “Based upon Troika’s continued efforts to leverage leading technologies, we stand ready to demonstrate the capability to support NATO and coalition forces to optimize visibility of sustainment readiness,”she said.
NITEC is an annual flagship NATO event. According to Bill Black, President of International Operations, “Troika is honored to accept this award and is excited about sharing our innovative approach to improving logistical sustainment for all NATO members and partners.”
Organized in cooperation with Germany’s Federal Ministry of Defence, the NITEC18 conference brings together over 600 senior government, military, and industry leaders, as well as defence and security experts. This three-day industry conference offers an insight into the Alliance's emerging technological and cyber needs. More information about this event can be found at #NITEC18 or at www.nitec.nato.int.
