Troika Solutions at GELS 2025: Supporting the Future of Marine Corps Logistics
Troika Solutions is proud to announce our participation in the upcoming Global Expeditionary Logistics Symposium (GELS), hosted by the Association of Marine Corps Logisticians (AMCL) from August 5–7, 2025, on the campus of Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.
GELS is the premier convening of military logisticians, defense leadership, policymakers, and industry innovators dedicated to the advancement of expeditionary logistics in contested environments. The event’s growing significance reflects an essential truth: logistics is no longer a support function—it is the pacing function for modern operations.
This year’s symposium will be opened by Lieutenant General Stephen D. Sklenka, USMC, the Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics.
His keynote address is expected to provide clear-eyed insights into the strategic direction of Marine Corps logistics as the force evolves to meet global challenges.
Championing Innovation and Operational Readiness
Troika Solutions is proud to return as both a vendor and sponsor of the 2025 AMCL Innovation Award. This honor recognizes individuals and teams who are leading the charge in modernizing logistics, improving readiness, and solving persistent operational challenges.
We will also be demonstrating our AIMS-IC platform, an inventory control and serialized tracking system currently deployed with the Marine Corps. Built specifically for unit-level supply and SL-3 reconciliation, AIMS-IC was designed to reduce administrative burden while increasing traceability, transparency, and operational effectiveness. It's intuitive, secure, and designed to work the way Marines actually operate.
Standing with AMCL’s Mission and Community
The Association of Marine Corps Logisticians plays a critical role in strengthening the professional community of Marine logisticians. Its mission—to promote professional education, enable mentorship, encourage open communication, and foster innovative thinking—is deeply aligned with Troika’s own values as a mission-first, solutions-focused development partner.
We believe that lasting innovation doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s built through open collaboration between operators, technologists, and strategists—especially in communities like AMCL that exist to bridge those worlds.
The leaders of AMCL—including Kirk Spangenberg (President), Dr. Joshua Gregory (Vice President of Operations), Rob Cranston (Comptroller and Chair of the Advisory Board), and Danny Tudor (Vice President of Communications)—have cultivated a forum where junior and senior logisticians alike can connect, challenge assumptions, and shape the future of logistics together.
Advancing Wargaming and Strategic Readiness
Troika is also proud to support Curtis Hudson Jr., who will be leading a panel on Marine Corps operational and strategic logistics wargaming. This discussion draws directly from over two years of analysis, scenario design, and systems modeling conducted by the AMCL Wargaming Project.
Wargaming is not just an academic exercise—it’s a means of aligning logistics planning with operational realities. It helps surface gaps, test ideas, and ultimately, improve our ability to sustain forces in contested theaters.
Join Us in Newport News
We encourage our partners, colleagues, and peers across the defense logistics enterprise to register for GELS and take part in this critical conversation. Whether you’re in uniform, in government, or in industry, the logistics challenges we face demand shared insight and shared commitment.
